about the photographer
Inspired by the beautiful nature shots in the Dutch magazine Grasduinen by renowned photographer Frans Lanting, I purchased my first SLR camera and began experimenting with nature photography.   It is my desire to inspire viewers and involve them experientially through the medium of photography.   My forte' is manual, non-enhanced photography, capturing nature in its magnificence while not disturbing its delicate balance.   My style is also influenced by the work of my dad, who always put great emphasis on foreground, subject and background.   Originally from the Netherlands, I have lived in the United States since 1991. I currently make my home in Florida, with my wife and two daughters.
